On 13th February 2018, I left my home village: St Cergue

The sun rose on a new day,
A few hours later, the Land Roamer left St Cergue...
It went (only) as far as Morges, to load it where I had worked during the last few months.

On the 14th, finally (!), it was driven out of the workshop, ready to start the trip!

First overnight stop was near Bern

and drove out of Switzerland (see flag on left side of photo), into Lichstenstein

The next 4-5 days, driving through Eastern Europe at 80 km/hour were driven with lots of rain...
NOT enjoyable...

Driving East to Turkey

After the rain and snow of Eastern Europe, the weather (slowly) improved as I crossed the Bosphorus strait at Istanbul.

There are mountain ranges and passes in the North-East of Turkey.
