The Imperial City is a walled enclosure within the citadel of the city of Huế, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. It was enclosed within a square fortress (also known as the Hue Citadel), with each of the four walls about 2 kilometres long and a wide moat on the outside.












The Tomb of Khải Địn is located in Chau Chu mountain near Hué. It was built from 1920 to 1931, for Khải Định, the twelfth Emperor of the Nguyễn dynasty. The tomb is a blend of Western and Eastern architecture. 






Mỹ Son is a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples in Vietnam, constructed between the 4th and the 14th century by the kings of Champa. The temples are dedicated to the worship of the god Shiva, known under various local names, the most important of which is Bhadreshvara.

















Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded sometime before 781 C.E. and located in the medieval principality of Kauthara, near modern Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, who came to be identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini.






Christ the King, of Vũng Tàuis a statue of Jesus, standing on Mount Nhỏi. The Vietnam Catholic Association built the statue in 1974 and it was completed in 1993. 
It is 32 metre high, standing on a 4 metres high platform, with two outstretched arms spanning 18.3 metres. There is a 133-step staircase inside the statue.




Bach Dinh (French: Villa Blanche) is a European-style 19th-century mansion, located on the side of the Big Mountain of Vung Tau City. This place was used as a resort for the Governor-General of Indochina, Emperor Bao Dai and the presidents of the Republic of Vietnam.







The Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, or the Saigon Central Post Office is located near Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, the city's cathedral. The building was constructed (between 1886-1891) when Vietnam was part of French Indochina. It counts with Gothic, Renaissance and French influences.







Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, is a landmark in Saigon. It was designed by architect Ngô Viết Thụ and was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It was the site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975, when a North Vietnamese army tank crashed through its gates

The Battle of Dien Bien Phu was a climactic confrontation of the First Indochina War that took place between 13 March and 7 May 1954. It was fought between the French Union's French Far East Expeditionary Corps and Viet Minh communist revolutionaries. 









The once iconic Ta Con Airport, now the Khe Sanh Combat Base Museum, contains a boneyard of several captured U.S. tanks and aircraft destroyed during the Battle of Khe Sanh. According to the official accounts provided by the museum, 197 U.S. planes were shot down or captured during the 170-day battle.
The museum documents that 26,000 U.S. soldiers and 17,000 ARVN troops (pro U.S. South Vietnamese army) participated in the Battle of Khe Sanh, accompanied by hundreds of planes, artillery, tanks and other vehicles. Around 11,900 soldiers were captured and decimated. The Northern Vietnamese forces also reported major losses.
